Meeting Place Poll
The Board is considering moving our monthly members’ meeting to a new place and time to accommodate our growing membership (we are approaching 300 members). We want your input on this potential move. Please fill out the brief form below. This poll will close on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024.
Where we meet now - Venice Police Station
Pros:
Keeps the current day and time at the 1st Tuesday of each month from 7-8 PM.
Free to use for 501(c)(3) Non-Profits.
Excellent AV equipment - wireless mic, internet access, 2 large TVs for presenting.
Pros:
Much larger capacity ~130.
Large parking lot. Over 100 marked spots.

Excellent AV equipment - wireless mic, internet access, projection TV for presenting.
Cons:
Limited capacity ~60. Standing room only during peak season.
Very limited parking. Only 29 marked parking spots, a few more on grass.
Where we are considering moving - Venice Library (on Venice Island)
Cons:
The library closes at 8 PM.
Would require us to move the meeting up one hour to 6-7 PM from the current 7-8 PM. The day remains the 1st Tuesday of the month.
