The TWIG

Since 2016, The Twig has been serving the foster care community and leading others to do the same. TWIG’s mission is to inspire and encourage foster families by providing a haven for the foster care community where needs are met, hearts are encouraged, and God's love is shown in a practical way.

The Twig is open on shopping days for children in foster care to come and shop for free. Children in foster care are eligible to shop once every calendar month they are in care with a supervising agency. Their stores are stocked with new and like new merchandise that is selected to reflect the latest trends for children newborns through teens. Every month, each child is welcome to select seven items, along with undergarments, socks, a book, and accessories. This is made possible through the generosity of individuals and businesses in our community.

The Venice AACA Car Club is pleased to have donated $1,500 to the TWIG to help them continue their good work with the children and foster families of the Venice and surrounding area.
